About us

MEB Production is specialized on designing and manufacturing tailor-made energy efficient modular element buildings such as kindergartens, schools, preschool, offices and apartment buildings mainly to Scandinavian markets where our project managers have long project management experience.

All designs and manufacturing of buildings is done according to local building requirements and standards as example Säker Vatten, GVK, Miljöbyggnad, etc. Also, MEB Production is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified for sales, design and manufacturing of modular houses.

Engineers and manufacturing project management is employed by the company. Manufacturing is done by certain subcontractors with whom MEB Production has long term cooperation contracts and experience.

Engineering

MEB Production has in-house engineers who have long experience in designing modular element buildings to Scandinavian markets. The advantage of having in-house design department is to have quicker and smoother design phase before and during manufacturing process. Engineering department consists of 2 constructional engineers and technical project manager who are led by 2 project managers. Engineers and project management have a close cooperation both with the customer and manufacturing in order to develop best possible product to our customers.

Production

MEB Production manufacturing facilities are located near Tartu, Reola parish where the standard manufacturing area is in total of 7000m2 and extended manufacturing area is in total of 12000m2. All building materials are stored and modular elements are produced in a dry, controlled environment and conditions with up to 95% completion of total readiness. One production cycle of complete house is approximately 8 weeks from manufacturing start. All production facilities are applied to the production of special size modules which could be up to 16m long, 5.5 meters wide and 6.7 meters high.

In full capacity MEB Production employs nearly 150 people.

Health and safety

Health and safety are main principles at MEB Production. It has been always most important to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and subcontractors. We have an sufficient, risk-based health and safety plan, suitable instructions and training that is available to all employees. MEB Productions health and safety plan includes among other topics:

Safe and healthy working environment including protective equipment in order to prevent injuries and incidents
Working environment must be clean, ventilated, with reasonable temperatures and noise levels. Access granted to clean water, bathrooms and areas to eat and rest.
Our products and services are designed and produced to be safe for their planned usage.
